WDA prepared design plans and obtained permitting for a 240 kW photovoltaic solar farm on a 3.4 acre under-utilized lot of land on Milk Street in Westborough, Massachusetts. The property is bounded to the south by the CSX and MBTA Commuter Rail lines, to the north and east by residential properties and is located in the Industrial B zone district. Our work included wetlands delineation, topographic and property line surveys, grading plans, drainage calculations and local and MA DOT permit applications. The system is now connected to the utility grid and will convert the natural energy of the sun to clean reliable electricity.
