Michael Grosswirth, Sr. RLA

Project Director/Business Development Manager

Michael Grosswirth brings over 35 years of experience as a Landscape Architect and Certified Arborist, joining us from Florida. He consistently strives to achieve a harmonious balance between development and nature with a diverse portfolio of projects.


Michael collaborates closely with senior staff and the broader team to cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensure projects stay on track, and provide valuable expertise in production and permitting processes. His extensive experience spans fieldwork, residential, commercial, retail, and municipal design, as well as project management.


His project portfolio includes:

  • Residential Developments: Versailles in Wellington, Hunter’s Run in Tampa, as well as affordable housing projects in Fort Lauderdale and Bradenton, Florida, as well as 40-B projects in Norfolk and Westborough, MA. Residential clients have included Lennar Homes, Transeastern Homes, Centerline, DR Horton, Altman Development, and Housing Trust Group.
  • Commercial Projects: Developments throughout Florida and Massachusetts for clients such as Publix Supermarkets, Costco, Rooms to Go, Floor & Décor, TD Bank, Chase Bank, Hilton, Dunkin Donuts, Tufts University, Aldi, Grossman Development Group, and Edens.
  • Municipal Clients: City of Oakland Park, FL, Florida Department of Transportation, Town of Acton, MA, Town of Westborough, MA.


Throughout his career, Michael has been deeply involved in all aspects of landscape architecture, from initial site visits and analysis to tree inventory and assessment, as well as landscape, hardscape, lighting, and irrigation design. As an ISA Certified Arborist, he has conducted tree health assessments, inventories, and appraisals to determine overall value and viability.


Michael has developed strong working relationships with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, and landscape contractors and has fostered excellent connections with municipal staff across Florida and Massachusetts. These relationships have been instrumental in ensuring seamless project progress from initial concept through approval.


Outside of Work

When he’s not in the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, dog, family, and friends. On weekends, you’ll likely find him exploring local mountain bike trails.
